The Daily Caller attended the ‘Occupy Bilderberg’ protests in Virginia on Saturday, but quickly had to leave after protesters harassed TheDC about a “mainstream media blackout.”
The Bilderberg meeting is an annual, invitation-only meeting of influential political and business figures from around the world. Since the meeting is off the record and held in secrecy, many of the protesters believe that attendees are trying to establish an oppressive one world government. Protesters have also been critical and suspicious of the media because of what they view as indifference on the part of major media outlets.
