Rocker Jon Bon Jovi is the most recent celebrity to publicly join the campaign efforts of President Barack Obama, Politico reports.

Bon Jovi took a ride on Air Force One with the President to a campaign event in New York. Reporters saw the singer at John F. Kennedy airport, prompting White House officials to acknowledge that Bon Jovi was traveling on Air Force One as “a guest of the president.”

The Obama campaign paid for Bon Jovi’s trip to New York, where he headlined a campaign fundraising event at the Waldorf-Astoria together with former President Bill Clinton.
