Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal’s story as an Indian-American who paved his own way might please voters who think Romney is too much of an elite. Pros: Jindal is a vocal social conservative, and has a staunch anti-tax policy, which will please hardline conservatives. Cons: Jindal’s 2009 rebuttal to Obama’s first State of the Union was widely panned by Democrats and Republicans alike, makes the GOP cautious about whether or not he is ready for the national stage.
