The Independent Women’s Voice (IWV) and Independent Women’s Forum (IWF) launched a new educational project, HealthReformQuestions.com, aimed at addressing misconceptions about President Barack Obama’s health care reform law.

Victoria Coley, communications director for IWV and IWF, said that the law’s “popularity is based on false assumptions about the coverage and costs associated with these provisions. There are better ways to ensure coverage, access and quality care – and it’s our hope to arm the American people with the facts.”

Three separate quizzes on coverage and pre-existing conditions detail the facts about the health care overhaul, assuming that it is upheld as constitutional by the Supreme Court.

The project is aimed at communicating facts, like this information from the Congressional Budget Office.

“Even after the law is fully implemented, it will still leave 23 million people – almost half the total number of uninsured – without coverage,” said the CBO.
