Six-year-old Joseph Armento really didn’t want his favorite New York Giants player, running back Brandon Jacobs, to leave for the San Francisco 49ers.

In early June, Armento sent an envelope to Jacobs with $3.36 from his piggy bank with a note that read,“So you could go to the Giants, here is my money.”

Jacobs wanted to repay Armento before he moved to the Bay Area, so he invited Joseph, his four-year-old brother, and his mother to play at a bounce house in New Jersey for an afternoon of fun on Wednesday, before moving to the West coast, The Sacramento Bee reports.

“He told me he really wanted to get out there with the kids,” Julie Armento told The Bee. “He really wanted to enjoy it, and he did. It was amazing.”

Jacobs also gave his little fan a signed Giants helmet and five dollars to refill his piggy bank.

The generous football player was cut by the Giants earlier this year, but signed a one-year deal with the 49ers on March 28.

The 6’4, 265-pound running back recently won his second Super Bowl ring with the Giants in February.
