Mitt Romney will be appearing with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie next week to raise money for his Republican presidential campaign, according to an invitation obtained by The Daily Caller.

The event — “An evening with Gov. Mitt Romney & Chris Christie” — is taking place Tuesday at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel in Iselin, New Jersey.

Among those on the host committee: Christie’s brother, Todd J. Christie, and the New Jersey governor’s close confidante, Bill Palatucci.

Those attending the general reception are paying $2,500 a person to attend. A $10,000 donation is required per couple to take part in a photo reception. Those who raise or donate $25,000 can participate in a private VIP reception.

Christie — the blunt-speaking governor beloved by Republicans — has spent a considerable amount of time campaigning for Romney since he endorsed him last year. He’s often mentioned as a potential running mate for Romney.
