NBA All-Star and San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker may miss the London Olympics after being injured by flying glass during a fight between singer Chris Brown and Drake’s entourage at the W.i.P. nightclub in New York City.

Parker had surgery to remove a shard of glass that penetrated 99 percent of his left cornea, The Associated Press reports.

“I almost lost my eye,” Parker said on his website Sunday.

The player did not practice with the rest of the French team Wednesday so that he could see a specialist in New York. He plans to join his teammates when he is cleared to fly between the States and France after July 5.

“I’m seeing a specialist in New York with the hope of being given the all clear to play in the Olympic Games,” Parker said. “Spurs are very worried.

“Anything can happen, including me being out of the Olympics. The decision doesn’t belong to me anymore. It’s in the hands of the doctor and San Antonio.”

France’s first game at the Olympics is scheduled for July 29 against the United States.

Parker is suing the W.i.P. nightclub for $20 million.
