Along with David Tyree and Eli Manning, Plaxico Burress was one of the heroes of the Giants 2008 Super Bowl win. Burress caught the game-winning pass from Manning deep in the end zone with 35 seconds remaining, solidifying the Giants defeat of the New England Patriots. Later that year, however, Burress was arrested for criminal possession of a handgun after accidentally shooting himself in the leg in a New York City nightclub and spent two years in jail.
