The Daily Caller is five weeks into its weekly gun giveaway! For 25 weeks, between Memorial Day and Election Day, TheDC is giving away a gun per week to one lucky reader. Entry methods for the first five weeks have included following TheDC on Twitter, signing up for TheDC’s Social Reader on Facebook and adding TheDC to Circles on Google+. Week six, however, is special: two guns will be awarded.
The week six entry method is to simply register with an email address, which earns the reader one entry to the contest. Readers then have the opportunity to earn additional entries by inviting their friends to enter the contest. For every friend who enters the contest from a referral email, the original reader earns one additional entry, up to a maximum of 51 entries.
As with previous weeks, a winner will be randomly chosen from all entrants to the contest. An additional gun will be given away at the end of week six to the person who has accumulated the highest number of referred entries. In the case of a tie, the winner will be randomly chosen from the group of readers who accumulate the highest number of entries.
The prize is the FMK 9C1, an American-made high-capacity 9mm designed and manufactured by Jim Pontillo in California. The gun is available in a selection of three colors, and each is engraved with the Bill of Rights. Entrants are required to fill out a short form and agree to the terms and conditions of the giveaway. Winners must obey all local, state and federal laws governing the transfer of a firearm and meet all local, state and federal requirements for firearm ownership.
