Josephine “Anne” Harris met President Barack Obama Friday morning, and was pronounced dead — from an apparent heart attack — just over three hours later.
Harris, 70, was the owner of Ann’s Place, a popular restaurant in Akron, Ohio, and had reportedly been excited to meet the president.
“She loved Obama,” Harris’ sister, Frankie Adkins, told the Akron Beacon Journal.
Obama’s Akron stop marked the first stop of the second day of his two-day tour of Pennsylvania and Ohio, where he sought to remind citizens of his role in 2009’s bailout of auto manufacturers.
