Perfectly sane and sober Fredrick Denney, 61, locked himself in a room of a Belmont, North Carolina, Hampton Inn and threatened to open fire on police officers if he did not get a pizza or a wedding to Paris Hilton. (Couldn’t he have picked a more relevant reality star, like Kim Kardashian? Paris is so 2004.)
Denney reportedly caused a scene at the hotel Saturday morning, and the second floor of the Hampton Inn was closed off for two hours during the standoff, WCNC 36 reports.
Alas, he did not get a Domino’s deep-dish, nor a rendezvous with the pasé heiress, but did receive pepper spray to the face and a ride to a local hospital, where he underwent psychiatric evaluation.
His bond was set at $90,000, and he faces a number of charges including being “intoxicated and disorderly.”
