The owner of the popular “breastaurant” chain Bikinis Sports Bar and Grill has appointed himself mayor of Bankersmith, Texas —– and has changed the town’s name to, natch, Bikinis.

Doug Guller, who owns 11 locations of the Hooters competitor in Texas, Oklahoma and North Carolina, purchased the ghost town from a Craigslist listing.

“Bikinis, TX will be a world class destination and I am thrilled to expand the Bikinis brand to include town ownership. There can’t be a better way to put Bikinis on the map…Literally,” Guller said in a July 17 press release.

Guller had been searching for the perfect little town to locate his breastaurant paradise for a year and a half before he found Bankersmith online.

The sports bar’s newest location will span the entire length of the two-acre town, and will host its first event in the fall.

Mayor Guller told Eater Austin that the town will be the home to a “Bikinis Ranch” style location, complete with a kiddie pool, camping area and a spot to park your RV.

Guller has big plans for Bikinis, Texas — he hopes it will become a destination, and maybe even be a town with the most bars per square foot.

“We want it to be a big playground,” Guller said. “We’re going to have some live music and put in a dance hall.”

Currently, the only buildings in town are the post office and a general store, in which Guller plans to house a Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill “retrospective.”

Right now, Guller is focused on writing up the Bikinis Declaration of Independence and the Bikinis Bill of Rights — and even marking up “Bikinis bucks.”

While Bikinis will be open some weekends this fall, it won’t be open year-round until next spring, so you’ll have plenty of time to figure out your travel plans and exchange your American currency for Bikinis bucks.
