James Holmes, the man allegedly responsible for killing 12 people and wounding 58 others at a screening of the latest Batman movie, can be seen speaking a science camp six years ago in a video recently unearthed by ABC News.
According to his introduction, the then 18-year-old Holmes dreamed of one day owning a Slurpee machine. At the time, his studies were focused on temporal illusion (which he described as “an illusion that allows you to change the past”) and subjective experience (“what takes place inside the mind as opposed to the external world”).
