Flamboyant Internet freedom activist Kim DotCom, who is currently fighting extradition to the U.S. after his Megaupload network of file-sharing websites was taken offline in January by the Justice Department, has come out with a song of protest against President Barack Obama.

The song, uploaded to Kim DotCom’s personal YouTube account, asks Obama:”What about free speech, Mr. President? What happened to change, Mr. President?”

The song, uploaded four days ago, already has over half a million views.

DotCom encourages listeners to “oppose, don’t vote for those, who want to take us back in time.” He also says, “Hollywood controls politics” and “the government is killing innovation.”

In January DotCom’s file-sharing websites were closed and his home in New Zealand was raided by police. In his song, DotCom urges listeners to “expose those who want to turn innovation into crime.”
