San Diego, Calif. — FMG Publications has launched the official Shooting Industry Masters Facebook page — www.facebook.com/ShootingIndustryMasters — and invites members of the industry to become fans.
Dedicated solely to the Shooting Industry Masters, the page contains pictures and highlights from the 2012 match, held last month at the Rockcastle Shooting Center, Park Mammoth Resort, in Park City, Ky., as well as a timeline through the previous nine annual events.
“Our brand-new Shooting Industry Masters Facebook page is the perfect place for teams to get fun facts about this year’s match and important news about the 2013 match when it’s available — including locations, events, schedules and more,” said Elizabeth O’Neill, Masters coordinator. “We also invite members of the industry to become fans of the page to see what the event is all about, and hopefully join us next July.”
Not only will fans of the page be the first to know the latest news on next year’s match, but the page also features a recap and a variety of photo galleries from the recent 10th anniversary event.
“Check out the Masters Facebook page to see match photos, shots of teams enjoying two days of shooting sports, goofy pictures from our ’50s bash and more, including information on the winners and the funds raised for shooting programs,” O’Neill said.
The Shooting Industry Masters is a handgun, rifle, shotgun competition divided into two classifications: Industry and Open. The Industry class is for new to intermediate shooters, while the Open class is for professional and advanced shooters. The 10th annual Shooting Industry Masters attracted a record-breaking number of teams, and raised $54,000 for shooting programs.
FMG Publications reports plans are well underway for the 2013 Shooting Industry Masters, with the dates and location of the match to be announced within the next two months.
