Ann Coulter: Lawrence O’Donnell is ‘a complete pussy’

On Wednesday, MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell played a clip of an Ann Coulter appearance on Fox News Channel, in which she called embattled Missouri Rep. Todd Akin a “selfish swine” for not dropping his bid for the U.S. Senate.

“This selfish swine, Todd Akin, is going to hurt the Republican Party,” Coulter, the author of the forthcoming book “Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama,” said.

Coulter’s statement, according to O’Donnell, was proof that conservatives are concerned about the Republican Party’s chances of taking control of the U.S. Senate.

“Why does Ann Coulter call Todd Akin ‘a selfish swine?’” O’Donnell said.

“Because Todd Akin’s bat-crap crazy ideas on rape are going to make it so much harder for Republicans to win control of the Senate. Right now, Democrats hold 51 Senate seats, Republicans 47, independents 2. Republicans would need to pick up four seats to gain control of the Senate. They would need only three seats if Mitt Romney actually won the election, because then the vice president, Paul Ryan, would be able to cast a tie-breaking votes.”

But according to Coulter, O’Donnell’s failure to invite her to appear on his show makes him “a complete pussy,” a claim she made Wednesday night on her Twitter account:

O’Donnell and Coulter aren’t unfamiliar with one another. Back in March, the two faced off in a one-on-one debate at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

As a final insult to end the evening, Coulter referred O’Donnell to Juanita Broaddrick, who accused President Bill Clinton of raping her in the 1970s, for a definition of “forcible rape.” Ryan has been criticized for supporting a bill that contained the words “forcible rape,” a term many on the left say is redundant at best and indicative of a reliance on junk pseudo-science at worst.
