Following a local news report, CTV anchor Andrew Johnson suggested to attractive weather lady Astrid Braunschmidt that they could “canoodle” before giving the forecast.
A shocked Braunschmidt then shot him down — hard. “We’re not going to be canoodling,” she said to Johnson. “What?”
After an awkward pause Johnson replied, “Oh, I thought canoodle meant chat. Astrid you are lucky there is a producer in my ear or I would have carried that on and on…Take it away — get me off camera.”
