Whenever there is a jewelry theft in Los Angeles, Lindsay Lohan is never too far away.
The part-time actress and full-time criminal is officially a suspect in the theft of over $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses (only in L.A. are stolen sunglasses being pursued by actual police) from the home of non-celebrity Sam Magid.
Magid reported the stolen accessories last week and told law enforcement officials that Lohan and her assistant Gavin Doyle could have taken the loot.
LAPD detectives told TMZ that Lohan and Doyle are suspects in the case. Curiously, Magid has since recanted his story and now claims nothing was stolen. However, police say they have witnesses who pinpointed the pair as the thieves.
Lohan, of course, is currently on probation for allegedly stealing a necklace from a Venice, Calif., jewelry store last year.
It would be a shame if Lohan is responsible, since she had so much going for her recently like her Lifetime original movie and soft-core straight-to-Netflix “psycho-sexual thriller.”
