Mitt Romney received a hostile reception from some Georgians when he attended a fundraiser there on Wednesday, with a number of people tweeting about violent things they would like to do to the Republican presidential nominee.
Georgia Tipsheet compiled the tweets.
Retweeting someone who said Romney was in Atlanta, Kalea McNeill tweeted, “Loads up watergun w/ acid.”
“Oh dey gon shoot dat man !” said another tweeter, @_itsCOKEWAVE.
“Mitt romney in Atlanta…guess its time to go mobing,” tweeted someone who goes by Y.A.M.S.
“*loads choppa*” tweeted Jada Fire.
A Romney spokesperson did not immediately respond to request for comment.
