Business mogul and reality television star Donald Trump will hold a fundraiser for Florida Rep. Allen West, according to an invitation obtained by The Daily Caller.
The breakfast fundraiser is set for Oct. 1 and will be held at Trump Tower. The minimum donation is $500 for a “young professional,” while a “host level” donation ranks at $2,500.
West is in a competitive race with political newcomer Patrick Murphy — a Democrat who entered with the sole purpose of ousting West. Currently, West has over $3 million cash on hand, and has raised over $10.5 million since January 2011. Murphy has just over $800,000 cash on hand, and has raised just over $2 million.
