Samuel L. Jackson broke into some poor family’s home to read them a horrifying Seussian bedtime story about the dangers of sleeping in this pro-Obama ad from the Jewish Council for Research and Education Super-PAC.

You see, you shouldn’t be sleeping, but out canvassing for President Barack Obama because if you don’t, Mitt Romney is going to swoop in and eliminate Planned Parenthood.

“Sorry my friends but there’s no time to snore
An out-of-touch millionaire has just declared war
On schools, the environment, unions, fair pay
We’re all on our own if Romney has his way…”

Perhaps more disconcerting than anything is the fact that the eight-year-old girl in the ad is more concerned with getting Obama re-elected than doing her homework or playing soccer or sleeping.

Jackson first pays a visit to the girl’s parents who would rather watch a movie than fundraise for Obama. He then checks in on her older brother, who says that “all politicians are the same” which is a pretty valid point.

Jackson then stops in on the oldest sister, who instead of holding bake sale for the president is more concerned with Facebook than the election. The camera then pans to the grandparents who are trying to get busy and enjoy what little time they have on this earth together, but they are rudely thwarted by the “Snakes On a Plane” actor who tells them that there is no time for hanky panky if Obama is to get re-elected.

The gist of it all is that Obama supporters need to WAKE THE FUCK UP because if they don’t, the world is going to end on their watch. How’s that for a guilt trip?
