Yes, Benghazi was a terrorist attack, and yes, Obama and the State Dept. have known all along

Fox News follows up on Eli Lake’s report yesterday:

U.S. intelligence officials knew within 24 hours of the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Libya that it was a terrorist attack and suspected Al Qaeda-tied elements were involved, sources told Fox News — though it took the administration a week to acknowledge it.

The account conflicts with claims on the Sunday after the attack by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice that the administration believed the strike was a “spontaneous” event triggered by protests in Egypt over an anti-Islam film.

Two senior U.S. officials said the Obama administration internally labeled the attack terrorism from the first day in order to unlock and mobilize certain resources to respond, and that officials were looking for one specific suspect…

The account that officials initially classified the attack as terrorism is sure to raise serious questions among lawmakers who have challenged the narrative the administration put out in the week following the strike.

The administration knew it was a terrorist attack, on the anniversary of 9/11, yet they publicly blamed some doofus who made a crappy YouTube video. They threw yet another private citizen under the bus to divert attention away from their own failures.

The State Department is still refusing to answer questions, citing the “ongoing investigation” by the FBI. Which is odd, because two weeks later, the FBI still hasn’t showed up. It’s almost like the State Dept. is stonewalling, hoping that everybody will just forget about it.

Not that I’d know anything about that.

A U.S. ambassador was murdered. The Obama administration has lied about it for weeks, and continues to apologize to the world for our right to free speech. And now their bizarre, ridiculous lies are falling apart.

It’s a good thing Obama’s not a Republican. Then it might be considered news.

Four more years!
