International pop star Lady Gaga was spotted meeting up with international hacker, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, according to the singer’s website.

Gaga was seen dressed all in black and wearing a pointed witch hat as she met with Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy for a five-hour dinner, UK’s The Telegraph reports. Gaga was seen leaving the restaurant around midnight.

Assange, who is wanted in Sweden on sex crimes against two women, has been holed up in the Venezuelan embassy since this summer. Although British police surround the embassy, the 26-year-old singer was able to walk right in. An embassy spokeswoman said people can visit Assange, but his staff usually sets up appointments.

The relationship between Gaga and Assange is weird, to be sure, but there is previous connection between the singer and Assange’s WikiLeaks operation.

Bradley Manning, the U.S. army intelligence analyst who allegedly leaked information to WikiLeaks, reportedly stole the information by taking a Lady Gaga CD into the office, wiping the music and downloading confidential files while pretending to lipsynch along with her songs.

In November 2010, it was reported that Manning allegedly described the process in a chatlog: “I would come in with music on a CD-RW labelled with something like ‘Lady Gaga’…erase the music…then write a compressed split file. No one suspected a thing …listened and lip-synched to Lady Gaga’s Telephone while exfiltrating possibly the largest data spillage in American history.”
