Two Ohio motorcycle cops injured in crash while escorting Michelle Obama’s motorcade

Hillary’s not the only one who went under the Obama bus yesterday, as WBNS in Columbus, OH reports:

Two law enforcement officials were injured in a crash while part of a motorcade escort for First Lady Michelle Obama on Monday.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcycles crashed at about 4:15 p.m. along U.S. Route 36/ state Route 37 and South Old State Road.

It was unknown if the motorcyclists collided or were struck by another vehicle.

And considering it’s a crash involving government vehicles, you don’t need to know what really happened. (I have a little experience with that.) Let’s just hope it didn’t inconvenience the First Lady. Do you suppose she called them knuckleheads?

I’m pretty sure this is the first crash with injuries in an Obama motorcade since last November. Almost a year. So that’s pretty good, considering.

Update: My mistake. A motorcycle cop in Florida was killed escorting President Obama’s motorcade just last month. “Obama was notified of the death, White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters after Air Force One landed in Washington. The president’s thoughts and prayers are with the officer’s family, according to the spokesman.”
