Lindsay Lohan’s father has staged an EMERGENCY INTERVENTION to get her into treatment for drug/alcohol/self-tanner abuse, according to TMZ.
The website claims that the actress fell off the wagon after she failed to show up for post-production duties for her straight-to-Netflix psycho-sexual thriller, “The Canyons.” (The assumption here is also that Lohan was actually on the wagon.)
Police were reportedly called to the actress’ Los Angeles home Friday after noted media whore and “Father of the Year” (26 years running) Michael Lohan showed up for the so-called intervention.
Michael told the reputable news organization (that just happened to be in front of Lindsay’s home at the exact moment of the “intervention”) that his daughter has surrounded herself with “a bunch of alcoholics and drug addicts.”
Michael also said that his daughters “entire team” was on board with the EMERGENCY INTERVENTION.
However, after her father appeared at her Beverly Hills pad, Lindsay’s alleged boyfriend/lover/psycho-sexual group sex partner told police that he was trespassing on her property.
Both law enforcement and Michael have left the home, and there are no reports of Lindsay checking into Passages Malibu just yet. So either Michael Lohan staged the world’s worst intervention, or was really, really itching for a segment on TMZ Live this fine Friday afternoon.
The drama follows last week’s report that Lindsay’s mother Dina was “on cocaine” and attacked her while in a limousine on the way to Long Island, which is only a sentence you would read in a story about Lindsay Lohan and her family.
