SNL spoofed Brad Pitt’s new ridiculous Chanel No. 5 commercial, mocking the star’s underlying pretense, nonsensical rambling, and overall “homeless” appearance throughout the advertisement.

In one of the four parodies, a long-haired, bearded Taran Killam/ Brad Pitt embarks on a pointless tirade, and then asks the crew, “You want me to sound less coherent? Really? I guess I could just start making up words.” In another, he advertises dog condoms and advocates for canines to keep their balls.

The original ad features a seemingly distant Pitt staring off into the camera and reciting a poetic verse about the journey of life? Or something. The ad has over 4.5 million hits on YouTube, and the reactions are largely negative.

Other celebrities who have been featured in advertisements for the French luxury brand include Blake Lively, Nicole Kidman, and Keira Knightley. Pitt is the company’s first male spokesman.
