Facebook’s Global Disaster Relief team has put together a list users can subscribe to in order to more easily follow updates on Hurricane Sandy.
The current list — which features 46 different pages from federal and state agencies, as well as disaster relief organizations — provides newsfeed-like updates from the various entities.
After a user subscribes to the list, it is accessible via the left-hand navigation bar on their Facebook homepage, which is separate from the users profile page and timeline.
The team’s page also keeps track of the storm’s developments.
