Hurricane Sandy has already wreaked havoc on at least one Fox News Channel reporter.

Fox’s Peter Doocy was reporting on the storm live from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware Monday morning when he stepped off the boardwalk and seemed had his foot captured by the wet sand, causing him to fall over.

But rest easy America. A few painful live television seconds later, the Dooce was loose.

While it wasn’t the coolest way to have a news report interrupted by severe weather, Doocy played off the dorky moment by reminding viewers that it was just one more of the storm’s many risks.

“If anybody come down here to take a picture, don’t go this way out to the beach.”
