No Doubt — the least offensive semi-punk rock band out there — yanked its latest music video because a bunch of YouTube commenters said it was politically incorrect.

The band, whose first album in 11 years dropped earlier this year, premiered its video for “Looking Hot” on YouTube and Vimeo late Friday, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The video features Stefani in Pocahontas-like garb being saved from two cowboys (played by band members Tom Dumont and Adrian Young) by bassist Tony Kanal, who is also dressed in Indian clothing.

After being bombarded with charges of racism and mockery of Native American culture, the band immediately removed the video from YouTube.

No Doubt issued an apology on its website: “As a multi-racial band our foundation is built upon both diversity and consideration for other cultures. Our intention with our new video was never to offend, hurt or trivialize Native American people, their culture or their history.”

The band continued, “Although we consulted with Native American friends and Native American studies experts at the University of California, we realize now that we have offended people. This is of great concern to us and we are removing the video immediately…We sincerely apologize to the Native American community and anyone else offended by this video. Being hurtful to anyone is simply not who we are.”
