Obama lied about Benghazi to Steve Kroft’s face, and CBS News tried to hide it

Font Size:

Back in 2004, CBS News tried to manufacture a scandal to unseat a president. In 2012, CBS News tried to cover up a scandal to keep a president right there in his seat.

Bret Baier reports:

Two days before the election, CBS posted additional portions of a Sept. 12 “60 Minutes” interview where President Obama seems to contradict himself on the Benghazi attack. As the Benghazi investigation gets more attention and focus, CBS is once again adding to the Benghazi timeline.

In the interview, according to the latest portions, Obama would not say whether he thought the attack was terrorism. Yet he would later emphasize at a presidential debate that in the Rose Garden the same day, he had declared the attack an act of terror…

And Sunday night, 54 days after the attack and almost two weeks after putting out the first additional clip that appeared to back up the president after the second debate, CBS without fanfare posted the rest of the Benghazi question online…

Read the whole thing. Here’s the video:

The Democrats and the media (PTR) have tried to claim that Obama called Benghazi an act of terrorism all along, despite the fact that he spent weeks blaming it on some dumb YouTube video. And how was that supposed to work? Well, because he used the phrase “act of terror” in another part of his speech the next day. But here he is on tape, that very same day, refusing to call it terrorism.

Obama knew Benghazi was a terrorist act when he said this. He lied to Steve Kroft. He lied to you. And when Romney called him out on it in the second debate, Obama lied about his lie with the eager assistance of “moderator” Candy Crowley.

And we’re only just seeing the absolute proof of it now, because… shut up, racist.

Four more years!

P.S. Maybe the press would care about Benghazi if we told them that’s the brand name of Sarah Palin’s tanning bed.
