On Election Day morning, a self-described software developer posted a YouTube video of a touch-screen electronic voting machine automatically selecting Republican nominee Mitt Romney whenever he tried to vote for President Barack Obama.

The voter wrote, “I initially selected Obama but Romney was highlighted. I assumed it was being picky so I deselected Romney and tried Obama again, this time more carefully, and still got Romney… I first thought the calibration was off and tried selecting Jill Stein to actually highlight Obama. Nope. Jill Stein was selected just fine.”

The voter wrote that all other buttons worked normally and no voters around him had any problems.

He said that when he reported the problem, an election volunteer initially told him “it’s nothing to worry about, everything will be OK” and took no action.

The Reddit thread for the video has amassed over 5,000 comments so far.

The machine was reportedly taken out of service but is back online after being recalibrated and tested.
