Nancy Pelosi’s Napa County vacation home burglarized

Sometimes after a long, hard 48 hours of legislating and irritating Republicans in Washington, Nancy Pelosi needs to kick back and have a glass of Chardonnay on the porch of her Napa Valley, Calif. vacation home.

Unfortunately, the House minority leader’s home on Zinfandel Lane (for real) was broken into Monday afternoon — just a day before she was re-elected to Congress for a 13th term, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Law enforcement officials said that the front door to the home was smashed, as was the glass door leading to the pool house, because, of course, Pelosi’s home has a pool house.

Police say no one was home at the time — probably because Pelosi was hanging out at one of her other pads — and say that nothing obvious was taken, but the owners have not seen whether other valuables were taken.

Pelosi owns a home in Napa County as well as in San Francisco, which is part of her congressional district.
