A former aide to Scott Walker was sentenced to 6 months in jail today.

What is more, as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel writes: “Gov. Scott Walker and his top campaign and Milwaukee County aides were implicated…in a scheme in which they routinely commingled political and official county business.”

According to the Journal Sentinel, former Walker aide “Kelly M. Rindfleisch, 44, was sentenced by Judge David Hansher to six months in jail and three years probation for a single felony count of misconduct in office.”

Walker says he’s not a target of the investigation, but according to an email sent to platinum subscribers of WisPolitics.com, “prosecutors alleged that Walker held daily campaign coordination meetings in his county office with a group of operatives that included R.J. Johnson and Keith Gilkes, as well as Rindfleisch, as he ran for guv.”

This could get interesting.
