As the professional hockey lockout continues, the Nashville Predators used their downtime to spread some joy, throwing a surprise packed-house-game for two youth hockey teams.

The team contacted a number of fans to come to a small ice rink where they were told they would be treated to a pizza party, Deadspin reports. But when the fans showed up, the real purpose was revealed: They were there to be fill the house to surprise the young players. The Predator’s announcer, band and cheerleaders were also in attendance.
