First they refused to label an obvious act of terrorism as such in Benghazi. Now the Prime Minister of Turkey openly calls Israel a “terrorist state,” and they refuse to condemn it.

It’s very strange to watch a reporter doing his job during a Democratic administration. Especially considering he works for the Associated Press. Victoria Nuland tries the usual empty, mealy-mouthed filibustering, and Matthew Lee is not having it. Good for him.
He finally gets this concession: “We of course agree that rhetorical attacks against Israel are not helpful at this moment. Is that what you were looking for, Matt?” My goodness. Yes, how dare he badger her for a statement on such a minor matter?
Hang in there, Israel. Sorry about this. Four more years.
