Gabriel Aubry, the ex-boyfriend of Halle Berry and the father of their young daughter, was arrested Thursday morning after a “huge fight” broke out at the actress’ Los Angeles home, TMZ reports.
Berry’s fiancee, actor Olivier Martinez, “rendered [Aubry] unconscious” after a domestic dispute reportedly over custody of the former couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Nahla. Aubry has been a print and commercial model for Versace, Calvin Klien, Tommy Hilfiger and DKNY, among others.
The brawl allegedly occurred after Aubry dropped Nahla off at Berry and Martinez’s home. Witnesses said that Aubry “went nuts,” but apparently lost the fight since Martinez was not sent to the hospital.
Law enforcement officials told TMZ that Berry plans to get a restraining order preventing Aubry from getting near her, Nahla or Martinez.
Tensions have allegedly been high since Berry lost a court battle over whether or not she could take Nahla to live in Martinez’s native France.
UPATE: TMZ now reports that both men were seriously injured. Aubry reportedly has head and facial injuries, while Martinez might have a neck injury and a broken hand. There are conflicting reports as to whether Aubry was knocked out, according to the site.
