What happens when you burn 100,000 rounds of ammo? Let’s find out.

The Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute  (SAAMI) tested ammo to see how much of a danger ammunition posed in a variety of scenarios.

What happens when a shotgun shell goes off without the confinement of a firearm chamber? How dangerous is ammo when burned in a fire? What happens if you shoot a box of ammo?

After extensive testing by SAAMI we now have the answers in this video entitled “Sporting ammunition and the fire fighter.”

It puts a lot of rumors about ‘exploding ammo’ to rest. SAAMI is a good resource for shooters. See there site here.
