Universal Pictures released the trailer for the upcoming action flick “Oblivion,” which stars Tom Cruise as a drone repairman who needs to save what’s left of humanity after an alien invasion left earth in ruins.
When a spaceship crashes with a beautiful woman inside, a series of events arise that question who she is, where she came from, and what she wants. Morgan Freeman also stars as an ominous figure who asks Cruise’s character why he’s so curious about the past.
Joseph Kosinski, who directed Disney’s “Tron: Legacy,” wrote the book upon which the screenplay is based. He directed and co-produced this film as well.
“Oblivion” hits theaters on April 12, 2013.
