Last October, Patrick Moran had to resign from his father’s campaign after this happened:
Providing yet another feather for James O’Keefe’s cap obviously hasn’t been sitting well with the younger Moran, as WUSA reports:
Patrick Moran, the son of Rep. Jim Moran, was sentenced in a D.C. court after pleading guilty to simple assault, according to court records.
Moran was sentenced to 90 days with 90 days suspended. He will have to do community service and complete a domestic violence intervention program.
Is that all? That’s not so bad, assuming he hasn’t suddenly become a Republican.
So… this is James O’Keefe’s fault too, right?
Probation? Beating a woman to bloody pulp is sort of like entering a Sen’s office during workday in plain clothes to ask question. Sort of.

Update: Rep. Moran says, “I hope their privacy will be respected. They look forward to putting this embarrassing situation behind them.” Yeah, it must be pretty embarrassing when your boyfriend smashes your face into a trash can.
