When the world ends on Dec. 21 — and it is definitely going to — members of the male species will have one big regret: not having more sex.

This may come as a shock, but according to a Harris Interactive poll of over 3,000 people, one in five Americans are genuinely concerned that the world will end as the Mayans predicted, according to data sent out to LA Weekly.

Not only are 20 percent of Americans worried that the world might end on Friday, but when it does lots of men will regret not having had more sex in their life:

“The online survey of 3,036 adult Americans this month asked about their end-of-world regrets too: One in 4 men said they would regret not having more sex if the world does end. Only 1 in 10 women expressed the same sentiment.”

Maybe these men would have had the opportunity to have more sex if they didn’t believe in dumb conspiracy theories like the Mayan apocalypse, and maybe more than 1 in 10 women would regret not having more sex if all the men in America didn’t believe in stupid stuff like the end of the world.
