Kathy Griffin tried to go down on Anderson Cooper live on TV during CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage.
During a segment about a New Year’s Eve tradition in Eastport, Maine, in which the town’s citizens kiss an 8-foot sardine after it is lowered from the top of a building, Griffin leaned down and kissed Cooper’s crotch.
The CNN correspondent was visibly embarrassed as he asked, “Did you drop something?” to which the comedienne replied, “No, I was kissing your sardine.”
“I can do it again,” Griffin said. “I can do this all night long.”
Cooper replied, “No, sweetie,” and lifted her onto her feet. After Griffin said she knew he wanted to, Cooper said, “Believe me, I really don’t.”
