Google, looking to make its mark in the TV space, has announced that Google TV will be available through nine partners in 2013 – expanding from its current partner count of five.

In a blog post Friday, the company said that consumers can expect to see Google partners’ displays of the latest version of Google TV, which is an interactive integration of Google’s Android platform and Chrome browser, at this year’s upcoming Consumer Electronics Show.

Partners such as LG, Vizio, Sony and two others will be joined by Asustek, Hisense, TCL and one not yet identified.

“In 2012, Google TV had 5 partners selling five products,” reported the Wall Street Journal Friday. “This year, the company says, there will be 9 companies selling 15 products.”

South Korean electronics maker LG announced in December 2012 that it planned to add three more models to its current lineup of Google TVs in 2013.
