WARSAW (AFP) – (AFP) – Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan is stirring controversy with his new installation in an area of the Polish capital that was part of the infamous Warsaw Ghetto during World War II. While his statue of a child kneeling with the face of Adolf Hitler is discreetly placed in a courtyard, critics say the work shows a lack of sensitivity to the suffering of Holocaust victims and survivors.
