So this is what someone thinks Kate Middleton looks like …
… a smug, creepy, dead-eyed (and kind of bitchy looking) ghost.
Artist Paul Emsley unveiled the painting at London’s National Portrait Gallery Friday morning. Middleton sat for the portrait last year, and it took several months for Emsley to conjure up this rendering.
Middleton’s official opinion of her portrait is that it is “brilliant,” but behind closed doors the duchess is probably all like, “WTF?” We are, at least.
How did he dream up such a lifeless visage from this?
