It only took Chris Brown 27 days to get into his first fistfight of the year (this time, it did not involve a woman).
The pop star/ woman beater allegedly punched fellow R&B singer Frank Ocean after the two got into a fight about a parking space at a Los Angeles recording studio Sunday night, TMZ reports.
According to the TMZ report, Ocean and his entourage tried to block Brown from leaving the recording studio and Ocean said, “This is my studio, this is my parking spot.”
Brown reportedly went to shake Ocean’s hand when one of his friends hit Brown.
However, the official police report differs from the TMZ story. Witnesses told police that the fight was over a parking spot and that Brown threw the first punch, the New York Post reports. Ocean is considered the “victim” in the police report since he stayed behind to talk to the authorities while Brown bailed.
Ocean tweeted late Sunday, “got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest [Ocean’s dog] was there” and “cut my finger now I can’t play [the piano] w two hands at the grammys.”

He was involved in a melee at a New York City nightclub last June when he reportedly threw an alcohol bottle at the rapper Drake’s head.
Brown infamously beat up then-girlfriend Rihanna in a car in 2009, sending her to the hospital and provoking international disdain for himself.
