Just kidding. Americans can demand whatever they want. And if those Americans are celebrities, they can furrow their brows and chant words over and over into a camera in an attempt to convince you to act before thinking.
And as Americans, we can talk back. Like Sunny Lohmann did:
We already have a plan. It’s called the Constitution of the United States. Your rights don’t change when somebody else abuses his. And anyone who tries to convince you differently doesn’t have your best interests, or the best interests of your children, at heart. They only want control.
Or they’re naive enough to be dupes for those who do.
