Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, a Democratic congresswoman from New Hampshire, owes nearly $11,000 in unpaid property taxes, according to a report by a local New Hampshire television station.
WMUR Manchester reported that property records show Kuster owes “nearly $11,000 on her primary property in Hopkinton and a second home in Jackson.”
“The records show she has been delinquent on more than $40,000 in property taxes in the past three years,” WMUR reported, despite the lawmaker’s estimated net worth of over $1 million.
“The Kusters are in the process of making these payments in full with interest,” said Rob Friedlander, a spokesman for Kuster, in a statement.
