Musician and outspoken gun rights advocate Ted Nugent is scheduled to attend President Barack Obama’s State of the Union Tuesday night as a guest of Texas Republican Rep. Steve Stockman.

“I am excited to have a patriot like Ted Nugent joining me in the House Chamber to hear from President Obama,” said Stockman, known for floating the possibility of impeachment over the president’s gun control executive orders.

“After the Address I’m sure Ted will have plenty to say,” Stockman added.

Nugent has been exceptionally vocal about his opposition to Obama, especially the president’s promotion of gun control measures.

Also this week Stockman’s office will be unveiling a 10-foot-long billboard outside the Texas congressman’s office in a Cannon House Office building corridor which details the “failure of Obama’s economic policies.”

According to Stockman’s office the Obama “Failometer” is “off-the-charts.”

“The Obama Failometer tracks four monthly economic indicators from the Bureau of Labor Statistics; jobs created, civilian labor force participation rate and black and Hispanic unemployment,” Stockman’s office dispatched in a release. “The figures are mathematically weighted to provide a measurement, on a scale from 1 to 1000, of just how badly Obama’s economic policies are failing. The inaugural Monthly Obama Failometer Score is an off-the-charts 1,179.”
