The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee wants to make sure that House Republicans and Speaker of the House John Boehner spread the love this Valentine’s Day, and have decided to help out with a series of greetings poking fun at their colleagues across the aisle.
“To Newt Gingrich: I love you to the moon and back,” write House Republicans in one imagined card.
“To Marco Rubio: You may have a drinking problem, but we will still be yours,” reads another.
“To White Men: Just looking in the mirror makes me think, ‘I love you,'” reads another card.
The House Republicans’ Valentine to Americans for Tax Reform’s Grover Norquist? “Let’s upgrade this ‘pledge’ to straight up marriage. (Just like God intended).”
