Auburn fan buries half-court buzzer-beater to win $5K [VIDEO]

Auburn student Stephen Bass executed a layup, free throw, three-point shot (after an air ball and brick) and a half-court shot attempt at the buzzer to win a $5,000 scholarship.

Positives: he won $5,000.

Negatives: he won’t actually get to spend a penny of it.

Compared to a Miami Heat fan who sunk just a single half-court shot less than a month ago, Bass got completely ripped off.

The Heat fan won a whopping $75,000 for his improbable field goal. And on top of reeling in 15 times more money than Bass, Miami’s fan got a hug from LeBron James.

For some, that alone would be worth $5,000.
